    Description

Chinese Republic Period Jade Carving White Mottled Spinach Cranes Early 20th C.
Auspicious cranes are well represented through the predominately frost and pearl white jade placed upon the smooth and grain-visible hand-carved and polished branches - with Lingzhi perching upon the crests, featuring intertwining tones of mottled slate grey/spinach with frost and pearl white.
The alternating sheens of semi-translucence meshing with the contrasting but rich deep earth tones make this a soothing, peaceful, and nature-like Chinese Jade artwork well crafted during the Republic Period before the mid-century.
Could likely benefit from a brief dusting/spot cleaning and waxing, but this is left up to the potential owner currently.
7" (17.78cm) approximate total height at tallest point.
    Condition:
Condition is very well maintained and preserved in great condition per older age; with the sole blemish being a small chip on the beak of the lower bird of the grouping which resulted in a 0.3cm (3.18mm) separation, and highlighted as visibly as possible.
